Simultaneous Optical Emission
Following high-purity acid digestion, sample aerosols are introduced into an argon plasma exceeding 8,000K. Atoms and ions emit light at characteristic wavelengths whose intensities are recorded across thousands of detector channels. High dynamic range allows seamless detection of trace elements and ore-grade concentrations in a single analytical run.
