Controlled Test Parameters

At RVA Labs, rolling tests are conducted in rotating bottle racks under controlled pH (10.5 to 11.0 using hydrated lime) and dissolved oxygen levels. Leach solution kinetic samples are taken at 2h, 4h, 8h, 24h, 48h, and 72h intervals to construct recovery kinetic curves.

Preg-Robbing & Reagent Consumption

By comparing direct leach recoveries against carbon-in-leach (CIL) recoveries in the presence of activated carbon, our metallurgists quantify preg-robbing tendencies caused by organic carbon, while measuring exact NaCN and lime consumption per tonne of ore.
